The Children of the Border Project

The Children of the Border Project began in 1987as a response to the many children along the borderwho live in an environment of war, heartacheand little opportunity for education or a good future. Many are orphans and some are kidnappedand forced to work on the streets or as servants. This is a heartbreaking situation and we have andwill continually aim to provide education, support for children’s homes and safe houses as well asproviding medical attention and basic livingneeds for these children.

Through the work and effort to bring peace inthese areas we hope and are working towards providing along term secure environment which will prevent childrenfrom being in these circumstances. The building of schoolsand specials homes have allowed for the children to atleast be in a stable place where they can be cared for andthey have an opportunity to receive an education insteadof being left on the streets.

This is an ongoing project and we hope to see more orphanseventually being placed in loving and caring familiesand in a peaceful environment. Please continue to supportpray for these children along the border, for theirsafety and also for those volunteers who are working toprovide care and education for these children along the border...
